In a casual atmosphere you are invited to sculpt with confidence and intuition. Not the sculpture, but the natural process and pleasure of creating are central.
You can experiment this day with soapstone. Soapstone is a soft type of stone that is easy to work with. You are encouraged to let go of control and surrender to the process. With the drilling of a hole you are invited to shift your attention from the outside of the stone towards the inside. This starts an inner journey. You make space in the stone and in yourself, through which other shapes present themselves and your perception changes.
You can make a sculpture in one afternoon or day, or continue working on a larger stone. The dates of the workshops are in the overview on the right. You can register individually and per workshop. Experience is not required. This workshop also offers a pleasant opportunity to gain more confidence in your own creativity. The sculpting take place in the cozy atelier and when the weather permits, we work outside in the garden.
